Josh Shafer - Assistant Principal

Mr. Josh Shafer

Mr. Shafer has been supporting D11's alternative schools for 18 years. This will be his first year as the assistant principal at Tesla EOS. His career began as a P.E. teacher at Palmer Night School and eventually became the Dean of Students/Dropout Prevention Specialist at the Roy J. Wasson Academic Campus. Mr. Shafer earned his bachelor’s degree from Adams State and master’s degree in Educational Administration from Ft. Hays State University.

In his free time, he is out hiking the Incline, biking, and skiing. He looking forward to a great year at Tesla and being a part of the Tesla family!
